Memorial Cache Traditional Cache

Cache is located on the outskirts of the garden.

This garden was started in 2011, three years after Boiestown and surrounding communities became The Rural Community of Upper Miramichi, as a beautification project. Money has been donated in memory of family members. Some of the trees and plants have been purchased and some are from local gardens.  Community members have donated their time and some their equipment to construct the garden. It is a work in progress!

This area is the former site of the Natural Resources Forest Ranger Station, often called The Cache, thence the name Cache Road. 

Cache Road can be a busy spot as it leads down to the junction of Burntland Brook and the Miramichi River. A great spot for fishing, putting in or taking out of canoes after a run on the river or just starting a run down the river.
