Geocache Description:

Thornhill Park is a family-friendly park that is perfect for spring and summer activities, including Frisbee golf, tennis, walking, and geocaching. It is named after James Thorn, who owned a crown grant of 160 acres located in Albion, west of 240th street. Thornhill School opened in 1959, while the Hall was built around 1965. Thornhill Hall is located on the park property and is used for many functions, including Thornhill Community Association meetings.

The Birds Nest is made by a family of maple trees and the cache is the egg inside of it. The cache is located on the side of Thornhill Park that is closest to 98th avenue. It is a short walk from the parking lot. The cache contains a log book and a small pencil; please sign the log book and replace the cache where you found it. Also, be aware that there may be bears in the area. Enjoy the caching and other activities around the park! Happy Caching!!!!
