Shannon County, Missouri is one of the most beautiful and rugged counties in the state. There are many National and State Forests, and, of course, the National Scenic Riverways of the Current and Jack's Fork Rivers. I was amazed at the lack of caches in the area.
Highway 19 snakes through Shannon County. Head south, out of Salem, Missouri and you will experience some of the most beuatiful country in the state. The cache is placed along this route at one of the more scenic views. There is parking at the site. You are looking for an easy Park & Grab, 35 mm container.
