One of a few caches along a walk across Holt Heath, an area of increasingly rare heathland habitat.
Cattle and ponies wander freely as part of the heath management; please keep dogs under control if you meet them. The cattle grids stop them wandering but they often congregate along this stretch of Holt Road below the ridge.
Parking for 2 or 3 cars can be found at N50 50.475 W001 55.276
Wheelchair accessible to within a metre or two but it is located off the main track and help may be needed to retrieve the cache.
