Geocache Description:

Medium Cache with ample room for swaps .Cache was placed was Geo info,log book,texta, swaps & Friendship TB.

Dry Weather Cache. Please be careful of Reptiles during the hotter months.

Loacted in Srubnot too far from  the river.


This area was used during The Great Depression (1929–32) it was a time of extreme hardship for people in Australia. Many Familes lost everything including their homes . This saw Tent cities & Shanty towns emege in various locations. This location still show signs of this history with small amounts of various objects & old bottles strewn through out the scrub . With this in mind please be careful when walking in this area. We have removed broken glass that we have found.  One of our local dear friends was born not too far from here on the river bank during these hard times.

There are nearby camping ,toilet ,picnic tables facitlies.  Dogs are allowed in the area but must be leashed.
