My uncle Elmer passed away a few days ago. He was kind of an eccentric fellow. While he was a member of several local organizations, like the Lions Club, The Oddfellows, and the local Masonic chapter, he was still kind of a loner. He had many acquaintances, but few friends. Even with his family he wasn't the most social guy. I think I saw him 5 times in my whole life; at 4 weddings and a funeral. But no one was ever invited to his home. So, after he passed, we were so surprised to see what was inside his small, ramshackle house.
In his final years, Uncle Elmer had become fascinated with cryptology, puzzles and treasure hunting. His home was full of books on the subject; maps, and notepads full of indecipherable scribbles. We spent hours trying to make sense of what we found, but we had no luck at all. Why are you looking here?
Just inside the back door we found waders, mosquito spray, a tire iron, and car keys that looked like they had been dunked in the river. On the table next to his favorite chair we found several novels by Doris Miles Disney, along with several other well worn books on cryptology. The parchment below was under the pillow on his bed. We think the parchment may be something he was working on right before he passed away. Maybe he hid something, somewhere, but we don't know what, when or where. Maybe you can figure it out.
Uncle Elmer didn't have much, so I doubt it will be any sort of treasure, but maybe you'll have fun trying to decipher the puzzle and finding what he hid. FTF prize is an unactivated trackable.
