There have been new players and we have had some recent events that have made new people in the area aware of geocaching.
This is an event for newbies, and the veterans will be nice to have around to pair up with some of the newbies.
This class will teach you the basics of using the website Geocaching.com
The event will start at 5:30 PM
5:45 - 6:00 PM Question and Answers and the showing how to use the website, member features and benfits of being a member, using smart phone apps, gpx files, and making and uploading user statistics.
7:00 PM Individual attention to have veterans assist you
Depending on the amount of questions and our pace, should be done by 8:00 to 8:30.
The libary closes at 9 so we will have to be out of the building by then
The above coordinates will lead you to the Library Center. There will be a sign on one of the library meeting rooms to the left when you first walk in. If you have a laptop, feel free to bring it with you, and bring an extention cords to reach the outlets. If you have a GPS device or a smart phone please being those to learn how to use the advance features of your app. There is seating for about 30 people so please RSVP.
