The cache is intended for kids, and the site is a very reasonable "last stop" for family travellers coming along the 17 corridor from Ottawa to North Bay or beyond. It is situated just before you enter the city of North Bay proper. It's appropriate terrain for kids, but you'd want closed toe shoes for sure. The original content of the cache is all kiddy stuff (with the exception of some recipes) and the girls will be by to check the log and survey the new contents periodically.
Everything should be accessible year round, but in the spring, the initial walk-in might get a bit swampy. It hasn't overwintered yet, but I'll check and update this; I expect it might be WAY EASIER to get to once the snow hits.
And yes...there might be blueberries at certain times of the season.
