Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for the Caching at the Wetlands 2013 Series.

Although Ospreys have not yet nested at Wawanosh Wetlands, a few platforms were placed on the property thanks to a number of partners working with the Conservation Authority. Perhaps in the near future, one of the nesting platforms will be chosen by a breeding pair. Ospreys are regularly seen in the Sarnia area, so they must be nesting not too far away.
