Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Mystery Of The Lost City. Hidden in the ancient forest next to the river at South Camden . Once occupied by strange people who use two wheeled transport and have fetishes for steel drums, Otto rubbish bins and used carpet, this ancient city rises up out of the forest holding those who seek it in awe once they arrive. Be sure to follow the instructions below to find this ancient and strange city, then solve the mystery to unlock the cache!

To take the journey to the lost city, first park your car at either the end of Ulmarra Ave and walk through the forest track to the other side, or park at the end of the bike track on Martine Ave and follow the creek down to the trail marker. From the trail marker head along the track east into the mysterious forest, if you pass the ancient automobile on your right you are heading the right way. Continue along the trail until things get stranger, and you see the Witches Hat Tree. Now your on the right track. Continue along the trail till you reach the creek. Cross the bridge and take the RIGHT HAND TRACK at the fork to reach the ancient city. Weave your way between the ancient monoliths, where once a strange race of people may have lived, riding and jumping. Their ancient garbage bins are still out to be collected in some places near the GZ. Here you will need to find the cache and then unlock the puzzle of the ancient city to get to the cache.

Take care after rain or in the hotter months. The trail can be muddy and slippery in parts, and this area is home to many dangerous creatures in the warmer months.

If you explore this area, you may be lucky enough to find the giant ramp to a platform, where once ancient Kings stood up and gave speeches to their loyal subjects.
