Geocache Description:

A challenging drive on a class 4 road, followed by an easy cache at the end of the road.

If you find yourself in the Somerset area in a high clearance vehicle with a little time to kill, here's an adventure for you. Crashco, BevanQ and i were out "semi"-4-wheeling around looking for an alternate route for "It is high. It is far. It is orange". BevanQ made an excellant discovery which he promptly turned into the "Into The Wild" cache GC4G486. Bevan's cache is more than five miles from the Somerset Road. Driving to this site took us about 45 minutes. My cache will take about 1 hour to drive to. Whether you drive or use another method of transport, be sure your mode of transportation is adequately fueled and that you allow plenty of time to reach your destination and return to civilization.

Otherwise, this is almost a park and grab!

A little more route information: From Route 9, take the Somerset Road 6 miles to reach Forest Road 325. Google Maps shows Forest Road 325 as Castle Brook Road. FR 325 may be gated at times but is generally open in the summer. Despite what you may see on maps, there are no other roads going into this location.

We continued on to the end of the road where I placed this cache.

Enjoy yourself, it's not such a tough drive. The hide is winter friendly up to about 1 foot of snow. BYOP!!!.
