Dieses idyllische Örtchen mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf den Stausee Bautzen und die Oberlausitz war für uns Anlass genug, für unseren ersten eigenen Tradi.
Zum Stausee:
Der Stausee von Bautzen ist eine Talsperre, welcher der Brauchwasserversorgung, der Niedrigwasseraufhöhung, dem Hochwasserschutz, aber vor allen auch der konstanten Wasserversorgung des Kraftwerkes Boxberg über die Spree dient. Darüber hinaus wird der Stauseee auch für die Fischerei und die Freizeiterholung genutzt.
Bis 1974 waren hier statt der Talsperre die Dörfer Malsitz und Nimschütz.

PS: Wir wollen die Idylle und die Natur erhalten - bitte fahrt nicht mit dem Auto direkt an den Cache, sondern nutzt das Fahrrad oder geht zu Fuß. Passt auf den Lebensraum der kleinen Waldbewohner auf! Danke!

This nice place with a wunderful perspective at the retaining lake Bautzen and over the landscape of the Oberlausitz was reason enough for us to place our first own traditional here.
To the retaining lake:
The retaining lake of Bautzen is prevalent used for the domestic water supply, the flood protection but especially it was bulid to secure a constant water supply of the Boxberg power plant over the spree. In addition the retaining lake is also used for fishing and leisure recreation.
Until 1974 the villages Malsitz and Nimschütz were situated at the place of the retaining lake.
