A quick grab as you get to the gateway of Onancock, voted one of the 5 coolest small towns in the South!
I think as a geocacher, it has been a pleasure working with Onancock. Businesses and the town have welcomed us and worked with us in making some guidelines about how and where the caches can be placed.
Onancock is a town of about 1500 residents, but that number can fool you...there are 5 art galleries and an art "colony" in the town, as well as a lot of great restaurants. There is hiking, running, biking, and kayaking easily available in a safe area. And it's near water...a lot of water.
So welcome to this cache. I hope it leads you in to explore the other caches in town. We've tried to make them interesting for you. This one should be fairly easy. There is a single parking space near the cache, you can use it, please do not park on the street. The cache is no where near the sign, so no reason to mess with the landscaping. Hope you enjoy the cache.
