Geocache Description:

This is a replacement for the nearby hot tub trials cache which has either been destroyed or will no longer be accessible due to the construction taking place near the original location.

The cache is located approximately 13.5 KM East of Squamish and Highway 99. Access is along a Forest Service Road that can, at times, be rough. 4 wheel drive is not needed but I would hesitate taking the family sedan on this road..

This is an active haul road. We have seen logging trucks, rafting company busses with trailers, and many pickups and trucks belonging to construction companies working on the run-of-river project on Skookum Creek on the FSR at all times of the day. Be very cautious and drive with your lights on!! (And we are not just talking day time running lights here) Also, beware of rock climbers the first 2 to 3 KMs as they park their vehicles along here to access different parts of the Stawamus Chief Park climbing areas. Be prepared and as usual good practice, let someone know where you’re going and expected time of return. It is not far into the back country but that does not mean you should not do the prudent things to ensure safety. Please rehide well.

You are looking for a camo painted small lock and lock. No FTF prize, just the glory of being able to notch another FTF in the old GPSr..

The cache will not be winter accessible!
