Whenever someone is heading to the cottage, one of the questions that needs to anwsered is "is there a fire ban?"
While driving down South Mary Lake Rd towards the lake you will pass a large sign in front of the fire station that tells you the forest fire chances and when or if you can have a campfire. When staying in cottage country it is imparative we follow these rules. Even a small campfire during a fire ban can cause a forest fire.
