This cache is located at Dickinson Hall on UF. Until 1998, this is on of the places where I came to learn about the natural world. I LOVED walking around this place and looking at the huge sharks jaw and all the birds and insects in drawers. Then they moved the exhibits and public programs to the Powell Hall. The one thing I miss most about the old hall is the smell; I think it was a combo of formaldehyde, dirt and old book. It smelled like learning and I loved every minute.
Parking is hard to find on UF so try for this cache on the weekend, after 4 p.m. week days or have a parking decal.
