GGA August 2013 Meeting - Dauset Trails Event Cache

Join the Georgia Geocachers Association at our August meeting on August 10th at Dauset Trails Nature Center in Jackson, Georgia for a fun afternoon of games, hiking/biking trails and a stroll through the zoo.  

We will start the fun at 1pm at the Nature Center Pavilion #2.   The pavilion will provide shade for our monthly GGA meeting, a fun prize drawing, and some geocaching games.

How much do you dread rolling up those tiny little logs in a nano? Well, now is your chance to actually have fun doing it. Roll up a log the fastest as our experts time you, and win a prize. Or how about that mysterious ROT-13 at the bottom of the cache page in the hint? Have you actually attempted to decrypt it yourself rather than letting the computer do it for you? Decrypt some ROT-13 faster than your caching friends, and win a prize!!

Afterwards, spend the afternoon with friends and family exploring over 17+ miles of trails (hiking and biking) that already have several geocaches hidden among them.  The newest trail links Dauset Trails to Indian Springs State Park.  The zoo is a family friendly and handicapped accessible paved trail that includes a variety of animals for all to enjoy.

For those who haven't been to this area before, numerous geocaches are available at Dauset Trails, Indian Springs State Park and in the nearby town of Jackson.
