Geocache Description:

Historic Takoma Park, a turn of the century train stop in the country, now sports restaurants, live jazz, a Sunday Farmers' Market, a traditional Fourth of July parade, an annual street festival featuring local artisans, and jazz and folk music festivals.  Tour some of the historic homes of Takoma Park in the annual House and Garden Tour.

Your hunt begins at the gazebo on Carroll Avenue, just a few blocks away from the Takoma Metro stop.  Spend some time in the shops, like Trohv or The Magic Carpet, before descending the hill toward your trove.  Look for the street named after a nut and walk toward one of the chicanes.  Near one of the Nandinas (white flowers in the spring and red berries in the winter) and the large rock lies your prize.
