A DUCKY way to Start the 31 Days of Geocaching. For those of you contemplating collecting some or all of the souvenirs for the 31 Days of Geocaching, how about a Flash Mob Event to kick off this endeavor.
LOCATION: Carrie Gaulbert Cox Park on River Road. The coordinates given are for the parking area. We will actually assemble in the shade of the nearby trees.
CALENDAR OF EVENTS:
Before 6:30 p.m. - Assemble and mill around.
6:30 p.m. - Log book will be placed at the GZ.
6:31 p.m - Sign log, swap geo-stories, trade or discover trackables, choice of DUCKY (cheap) swag.
6:40 p..m. - Polling as to whether attempting the 31 day geo-streak.
6:43 p.m. - Excessive quacking by assembled multitude.
6:45 p.m. - Depart the area.
While the month of August dedicated to finding caches, it is also just a fine month to give back a little by hiding a few of your own. We cannot search for that which has not been hidden. I have personally committed to hiding a minimum of 10 caches during the month. This being the first.
