The building at this location was built almost completely by volunteers (except for the construction foreman). It was completed in 1926 and opened in 1927. The settlement itself was founded by Halvar N. Ronning (a Lutheran minister), and many Scandinavians settled there after coming over the Edson Trail in 1912. The community celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2013.
This is an easy park and grab -- definitely no hint necessary on this one! You are looking for a small camouflaged lock & lock with room for a few small tradable items. FTF is a coffee shop gift card -- enjoy!
