The cache is situated in the Jan Marais Park, close to the University of Stellenbosch. The beautiful nature park is well maintained and has a variety of Fynbos and other plant species. There is no entrance fee, but please respect the park rules!
What is a Letterbox Hybrid?
Letterboxing is another form of treasure hunting, but may use clues which you will have to follow in order to get you to the final. If there is a stamp inside a Letterbox Hybrid, it is not an item intended for trade; the stamp is meant to remain in the box so that visitors can use it to record their visit. As a suggestion you may want to have your own book to stamp using the stamp provided in the letterbox when visiting various letterboxes along your geocaching journey. IMPORTANT: Please hide the cache where you found it, and make sure it is hidden from view. It is not necessary to stamp the log with the given stamp inside the cache. Only stamp your own stamp book, and stamp the logbook if you have your own stamp. Please be aware of muggles as well as the security that walk/ride around.
