All-day geocaching fun for everyone! Food, raffles, hikes and exploration! 5:30 PM Hallowe'en theme Pot Luck Picnic, food donations welcome! Sardis Park Pavilion in Murrysville, PA. This pavilion is enclosed and has electricity.
Local caches may be done at the participant's leisure.
Coordinates will also be available for printing from the Westmoreland Conservancy's cache page. Please note that all temp cache locations are within a few feet of the trail. There is no need to bushwhack. There are no ammo cans or plastic storage containers; each cache is themed to it's surroundings. No cards or swag, just a log and a key phrase.

Caches: WC Reserves, Municipal sites, DHCT cache trail, local caches
For a group/cooperative caching experience:
Don Harrison Community Trail 5-Mile Cache Hike from Townsend Park to Walter Reserve. Steep hill down. Allow 3 hours. (arrange for carpooling or pick-up) West to East Difficulty level: 1.5. Terrain difficulty: 3. Meet at Townsend Park/DHCT trailhead at the Ballfield parking lot (coordinates below).
OR: Don Harrison Community Trail 5-Mile Cache Hike from Murrysville Dog Park to Townsend Park. 2 Steep hills to climb. Allow 3 hours. East to West Difficulty level: 1.5. Terrain difficulty: 3.5.Meet at the Murrysville Dog Park on Weistertown Rd.
