Geocache Description:

An addition to the battery of caches surrounding Boston. It is in a small memorial park near the river. The cache is a micro, but is hidden in such a way that I estimate it to be of high-medium difficulty.

I decided to place this cache for a few reasons.

1: I have family in the area, and it is always a pleasure to see and geocache with them. This will give them something to find.

2: To satisfy my geek interests. Ragnarok is the name of a series of events in Norse mythology that lead to the formation of a better world (this satisfies my Avengers geek side). It is also the name of a map in Halo 4, the continuation of one of my favorite video game sagas. In many ways, it is a successor to the highly popular "Valhalla" map of Halo 3 - and is known for its beautiful vistas, its lovely symmetry, and views of the sea. As well as tanks and vehicles, such as the M808B MBT, the HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark IX, the Type-26, the Type-32, the M12 FAV, and the M274 ULATV. (Note: If you see any of these vehicles at the location, please report them immediately to the nearest United Nations Space Command outpost or the Office of Naval Intelligence division aboard the UNSC Infinity (INF-101).

3: Most importantly, this is a small park dedicated to a fallen officer from Saugus, Harold L. Vitale. You will see the memorial to him near the coordinates. Say thanks.

Park at the pier and make the short walk (less than 100 feet if you park in the right place).

Good luck and good hunting!

Congratulations to Real Hoot and Captainlamp for a co-FTF!
