[SV] Sjukhuset är en del av Ålands hälso- och sjukvård (ÅHS). ÅHS är den offentliga myndighet på Åland som ansvarar över hälso- och sjukvården. Landskapet Åland är huvudmannen för ÅHS som bildades 1994 genom en sammanslagning av Ålands centralsjukhus, Ålands folkhälsoförbund och Ålands vårdförbund. Sjukhuset har byggts om och till i flera omgångar, men de äldsta byggnaderna är från 1952-53.
[EN] The hospital is part of Ålands hälso- och sjukvård (ÅHS) (translated: Åland's healthcare). ÅHS is the public authority on Åland who has the responsibility over the healthcare. The Government of Åland is the principal of ÅHS which was formed in 1994 by a merger of Åland's Central Hospital, Åland's Association of Public Health and Åland's Care Association (directly translated names, not official). The hospital have been renovated and extended several times, but the oldest buildings are from 1952-53.
