In Spearfish take West Jackson Street. Then turn left on St. Joseph Street. Drive until you get to Hill Street and turn right. When go get to Tinton Road turn left. You will eventually be on a gravel road.
This road is also referred to as FSR 134.
This is the road that one can drive to Iron Creek Lake. It's a nice drive that I drove on as a kid all the way through college. You will be driving around eight miles to the Big Hill Trails. (Trails number 72) There are five loops which the total length is 13.6 miles. Here I am trying to introduce the area to you. This area is open year round. However, with snow on the ground I would advise to not look for the cache.
You are going to be on Loop A1 to find the cache. You will be greeted by ferns, wildflowers, aspen and birch trees. There is much more there to enjoy! This cache is dedicated to my sister, Emily. She has always been there for me and I love her very much! I know she will think this is a beautiful area. Watch out for muggles and hide the cache well after finding it. Happy caching to you!
