Betty Be Solid Traditional Cache

Betty, the blonde-haired daughter of Hal and Alice Cooper, is the typical 17-year-old girl next door. Her middle class upbringing sets her apart from the flashy lifestyle of her wealthy friend (and sometimes rival) Veronica. While they compete wholeheartedly for the affections of Archie throughout their teenage years, one thing never changes and that is their friendship. So when Archie left Riverdale and Ronnie soon followed, it was only a matter of time before Betty joined them.

Despite the connection to Archie throughout her life, Reggie is always in the wings to pick Betty up and lift her spirits. Although his self-image is sometimes more important, it seems to be that he truly loves her. He has been known to tell her she has "won a date with the most handsome man in the world" whenever she is feeling sad. The relationship between her and Jughead is just as poignant, he has remained a confidant and a close friend. He'll provide commentary on her feelings for Archie, and Betty will attempt to 'better' Jughead, by getting rid of his laziness. They are close enough friends that Jughead even said if he had to kiss a girl, Betty would be his pick.

Betty loves sports, cooking and making her own clothing. She loves fashion and driving around the block. A girl who likes to 'get out in it,' she is also a scuba diver who has a talent for animals, keeps a small garden in her backyard and loves children. She is very concerned with the environment and other social issues, and encourages the rest of her gang to clean up after themselves.

Betty is one of the smartest students at Riverdale High School, so she took her time moving over to the new city of Bike Path. Knowing that if she hurried she'd be leaving a few things in jeopardy, she took her time departing the blessed city they all knew and loved. Making sure the children were taken care of, ensuring the elderly she helped had appropriate care, refusing to leave her animals behind and, above all, performing a little CITO along her way. For Betty wouldn't be herself if she walked by garbage.

Beauty, brains and heart, Betty is solid and dependable, the girl everyone can count on.
