This large mass of water is used by industrial, recreational and professional people for sailing, skiing, rowing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, boating, diving and is the home to a variety of flora and fauna. It has a number of islands and reefs within. It’s tidal to the Tasman Sea via a narrow channel at Windang.The trail ( a loop around the lake) is approximately 30km with most caches accessible by bike or by “car n walk”. The LIPT is a work in progress and as further foreshore locations become available additional caches will be placed.
