Geocache Description:

August 31, 2013 7:45 for an Ice Cream Treat.

Please include the # that will be attending in your will attend.

This event is a chance to get together and celebrate a Milestone you have recently accomplished and remember some of the unique memorable caching Journeys encountered.  This event will be at 7:45 PM.  There will be a family friendly bike ride starting at 6:30.  The bike and burlery train will make a loop leaving from and end up back at this park in time for this event.  If you want to join in for the ride make sure to be here by 6:30.

We look forward to a chance to celebrate your milestone and share stories (or the end of the August 31 days of caching).

What is your milestone (recently completed)?

Please email me what it is (or will be!)  - or include it in your log and we will incorporate it in the evening.

Is it completing 31 days of caching in August 2013 and earning consecutive souveniers for 31 days?

Getting 3000 finds,  300 Multi's,  1000 "?'s"

caching 1045 consecutive days in a row (MBQS????)

We will have just celebrated 3 years of geocaching our Cachiversary is Aug 29!  We hope to have 300 Multis and are working on getting 1000 "?'s" and 100 letterboxes complete just not thinking it will happen by the end of august. (oh and that 100 Larges maybe by 2016)

What is a recent caching experience others do not expect to hear from you?

Please email me about it  - or include it in your log and we will incorporate it in the evening.

Maybe it was getting pulled over because your lights were not on - or because your plate had been flagged on a prior day through town for suspicious behavior.  Maybe you too have climbed in a storm drain or climbed a very high tree.  Did it involved expensive electronics and water?  or being misplaced?  Renting a car and returning it with no brakes?  What about hiking through swamps or acting like you were tying your shoe, or the list goes on and on....  Lets share some of those memorable stories.  Maybe we can learn from others mistakes, or better yet find out about some more caches that need to go on the target list.

One of the things I really enjoy about geocaching is the opportunity for us each to make it a customized game for ourselves by various grids, streaks and challenges to work on (thank goodness for GSAK!).  I also enjoy the memorable journeys along the way and think it is important to share the most unique stories to remember the crazy things we do or that happen to us while caching.  Some may find us a bit odd or think we are crazy to search for tupperware in the woods.  But i think it is just another hobby that has been a great chance to spend time in nature and make some great friends.

In case you read this cache page like an Earth Cache - here is a summary.

Ada Park,  August 31, 2013  7:45 PM......  Let us know the # attending and your milestone and or story.  If you want to go for a family friendly bike ride be here at 6:30 with all necessary safety equipment.  Going over your handlebars because you have a GPS in your hand is not wise and can be harmful. (if not to you your gps may pay the price)
