Geocache Description:

A bit of nice mathematics. This could be done with primary school maths, but will probably be done with a bit of help from the Internet.


The cache is not at the above coordinates. You knew that. The coordinates point to the middle of a roundabout. Do not go there.

Look at my geocaching 'handle'. You will not be surprised that my real name is Martin. But what are the numbers?

They are not random, or an old telephone number, or a date.

Find out what they are.

The date of the hide, 5/8/13, is significant (unless you are American).

The cache is at N52 37.abc W001 06.def, where 

abc are the first three digits of F(45)

and

def are the 16th, 17th and 18th digits of F(103)

The numbers do get a bit big! Either use a spreadsheet (but note that Excel doesn't work for numbers this big without some tweaking), or someone else's calculation from the Internet.

To check you are on the right lines the second third and fourth digits of F(20) are 765.
