This is one of my favorite hangouts in T-Town. It's been a gathering spot for lunch with family and friends for many years, usually on Sundays after church. During the April 27, 2011 tornado that swept through Tuscaloosa, the previous building was destroyed. But thankfully, no lives were lost here. Our family was saddened, not only for the great loss to our city, but also that there was not another one of these eating places close by at which to gather for our Sunday meals. After more than a year following the storm, we were so excited when it was rebuilt and finally opened again. Many other establishments and homes have also been rebuilt in this area since that fateful storm, resulting in an improved neighborhood and more smiles!
