We walk on this trail with our dog, Hope. The cache location is near "scenic viewpoint #1" on the trail, where you can catch a glimpse of the ocean on a clear day.
The cache is a gentle 5 minute stroll from the trailhead. The trail is barely sloping, almost flat, but can get muddy on rainy days.
PS: Some horses use this trail too. Watch out for road apples (and Hope apples).
PPS: Watch out for barbwire. The cache is easily accessible from the trail and you don't have to go off it.
