[LV] Lielupes krasts šajā vietā pirmo reizi nobrucis tālajā 1963. gadā. Krasta iegrūšana ir atkārtojusies vairākas reizes, līdz aptuveni pirms 7 vai 8 gadiem (2007. vai 2008. gadā) veikta krasta nostiprināšana. Šāds krasta nostiprināšanas veids tiek saukts par gabionu. Šobrīd šeit ir iecienīta copes vieta, uz Dubultu pusi atrodas laivu nolaišanas vieta, kā arī peldvieta.
