Road to cache is passable with a car but I would not recommend it.
Mount Clague is named after Herbert Naden Clague, a BC Land Surveyor. In 1910, Mr. Clague laid out a subdivision plan during provincial anticipation of railway developments to Kitimat. Unforturnatly, this never happened until the 1950's when the Aluminum Company of Canada (Alcan) developed hydro-electricity at Kemano and built an aluminum smelter in Kitimat. Ever since the 1950's, Mount Clague has offered hiking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
This 6 km trail has some steep sections and is classified as "Difficult" with a return time of 8 - 10 hrs. The summit of Mount Clague is at 1350 m or 4429 ft. If you plan on experiencing this mountain for yourself, be prepared for mountainous conditions and remember that you are in bear country. Enjoy.
