Pinkery 11 – Moorland Way |
The Moorland Way is a defined footpath which enables walkers to access and enjoy the moorland landscape. The landscape itself is both richly inspirational and very important, highly regarded for its beauty and carefully managed to conserve wildlife, and carbon and water resources. Part of the special character of Exmoor's moorland is the complex of edges with other habitats and landscape types - such as woodland, pastures and woodland - and the dramatic changes in slope and contours of the hills and combes. |
