Geocache Description:

I've always loved this lake.  Put in for the cache is at a small cove, not very difficult since the lake is up but could be challenging when it's low again.  Cache is in a 30mm ammo can with plenty of swag, as it's my first cache.  Included a FTF kit for the first finder with a FTF coin.  A 4th of July geocoin and a travel bug.  There is also an inactivated South Carolina travel tag.  Please keep this stocked with trackables and swap them out.

30 mm amp can, 100 feet up a steep hill from the shore, at full pond.  In a small cove with a large rock near where you venture from the boat.  Devils Fork State Park is basically the only way to access the cache, $2 fee to get in.   I think you could access the cache by ATV or 4x4 roads but I am not familiar. Be careful on the hike up the hill, although my wife and I had no problems.   Shoes are recommended, I know boaters sometimes only wear open toed shoes.   Rated the terrain a 5 due to needing a boat and the steep hike. Have fun and enjoy the lake as I always have!!!

FTF goes to.....bigfatmeanie.
