Skålleruds station är sedan länge nedlagd. Numera passerar godståg två ggr om dagen på väg till och från Mellerud-Billingsfors. Om somrarna går det en rälsbuss ett par ggr om dagen, tillgänglig för turister, mellan Bengtsfors och Mellerud.

Skålleruds station was closed long ago. Nowadays freight train passes twice a day going to and from Mellerud-Billingsfors. In the summer, a railcar is available for tourists, between Bengtsfors and Mellerud a few times a day.
