Geocaching in the north woods can bring you to some of the nicest areas that you will never find on any travel brochure or hear about on TV or radio . This is hopefully one of those places.
I found this place kind of by accident. I had seen the boat landing sign out by the road and never bothered to stop and check it out. Once I did I realized how nice of a spot I had been missing. This is a small lake with a carry in only boat landing. There are obviously trout, according to the sign, and I saw plenty of panfish and frogs as I walked around looking for a place to put this. It is a very quiet lake that is just off the highway and a great place to stop and enjoy some of what makes this area so special. You are looking for a bison tube that will hopefully be accessible year round.
