Geocache Description:

P&G with parking on the wide, paved berm beside the cache - or across the road in the gravel lot. Wheelchair accessible, especially if you just pull off the road beside the cache. Keep an eye on small children along this little used road as the cars do fly.

The other day I was thinking about how many words we have in the English language that consist of only 2 letters. I thought of oh, by, am, on, in, up, of........... I came up with 30 in all. How many can you think of? Conjunctions don't count (those are words with apostrophes such as I'm).

The Pittsburg & Shawmut Railroad is located across the road behind the gravel parking area. It makes a giant bend here and follows the Pine Run creek near this junction of roads. It follows the road you are on in one direction and runs towards Eddyville in the other direction.

The railroad was started in the early 1900s and ran from Brockway to Freeport. It has been out of use for several years and the tracks have been removed in this area. ****For those of you familiar with the spelling of Pittsburgh, PA, you'll notice the railroad name does not contain an "h".  That is because from 1891 to 1911, the US Post Office tried to standardize all town names and Pittsburgh was made to remove the "h" from it's spelling.

Congrats to M&G Cachers and Whitefeather11 for FTF.
