Transferido o cemitério, o Adro foi-se adaptando a novas circunstências.
Decorria o ano de 1843. Depreende-se que por esta altura os artigos de venda seriam: peixe, sardinha, carapau, cavala e farinha. Apenas estes e só mais tarde apareceram as termoceiras com os seus sacos de riscado cheios dos apetecidos termoços que vendiam, doseados por pequenas medidas de madeira.
A variedade aumentou e, ao lado destas, vêm a surgir as boleiras a vender bolos fogaceiros.
No Adro existiu um poço-fonte. Desse poço a água era bombeada pela manipulação de uma enorme roda de ferro.
Em 1953 são feitos os primeiros empedramentos no adro, o coreto e por baixo deste o chafariz sobre o dito poço-fonte.
