Started out this day with Li1gray, Tundra Tim and Karma! with the intentions of getting about 6 caches in the Arctic Valley area. It was cloudy when we started but, hey, this year's weather has been so good we expected the clouds would burn off by the time we reached the top of the mountain. Well, if anything the clouds got worse and we were hunting in IFR ( instruments flight rules) conditions. We couldn't see 100 feet in front of us! So to make a long story short we found ourselves at a near-by cache "Dancing with the Clouds" GC3VE1R 3 times. Then after being halted in our progress in moving toward another cache by a deep gully, which we discovered when we were on the edge of it, we decided to call it quits for the day. That is when I decided that I would place this cache to remember this "fun" day.
Parking is at the Arctic Valley ski area and there is a fee.
