This is the first in a series called the OATS series (off a trail stash). This is one of our favorite parks. There's canoeing, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and Alex's favorite... Seeing the snakes at the Nature Center. The Latta Plantation is there, as well as the Carolina Raptor Center.
Park at the horse trailer parking lot and cross the street to access the trail. Watch the road apples, as the trail doubles as a horse riding trail.
