Geocache Description:

Located on the edge of Frog Creek, you're looking for a painted matchstick container.  Down a rocky little slope so take care. I hid this in the rain and in flip-flops and didn't break anything, so you shouldn't have a problem, just watch the kiddos if they are along and take care when pulling off near the bridge.

I have crossed over Frog Creek on I-35 for several years now on trips between Kansas City and Wichita.  I always thought it would be fun to place a cache here given the name of the creek and today while passing through I decided to find this bridge crossing over it on a nearby country road.  Pretty little spot and perfect for a frog cache.

Thanks to my friend and fellow cacher, crossmage, for googling the exact location of the creek while I was in route so I could plan my stop. That boy can find anything!

For some interesting information on an old "lost" pony truss bridge, built in 1911, which used to cross Frog Creek, see the related web page above.

Have fun and happy hunting!
