La prima volta ho avuto contatto con sculture realizzate da Eduardo Caravati era in Germania. Caravati fu un intagliatore di pietra italiana vivono 1869-1930. Intorno 1900 lasciò l'Italia e ha lavorato e vissuto in Germania in una piccola città chiamata Lautenbach nella famosa foresta nera. Ci ha creato alcune sculture religiose lontano da qualsiasi percorso nel bel mezzo della foresta. Per mantenere queste opere d'arte in memoria, il più famoso di loro tenere geocache. The first time I had contact with sculptures made by Eduardo Caravati was in Germany.
Caravati was an italian stone carver living 1869 - 1930. Around 1900 he left Italy and worked and lived in Germany in a small town called Lautenbach in the famous Black Forest. There he created some religious sculptures away from any path in the middle of the forest. To keep these artworks in memory, the most famous of them hold Geocaches. It is a series of four. To continue this series here comes number six. Now in Caravatis own country.

Den ersten Kontakt mit von Eduardo Caravati gemachten Skulpturen hatte ich in Deutschland. Caravati war ein italienischer Steinbildhauer, der 1869 - 1930 lebte. Um 1900 verließ er Italien und arbeitete und lebte in Deutschland in dem kleinen Ort Lautenbach im Schwarzwald. Dort schuf er einige religiöse Skulpturen mitten im Wald, weit weg von jeglichem Weg. Um die Erinnerung an ihn und seine Werke aufrechtzuerhalten, gibt es für die bekannteren Werke eine Serie von Geocaches. Die Reihe dort umfaßt vier Skulpturen. Um diese Reihe fortzusetzen, gibt es nun hiermit Nummer sechs. Nun aber in Caravatis Heimat.
