Win the Lottery! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

If you would like a brief history lesson about the education system in Alhambra, visit the monument at the top of the stairs at the Scanlon Center, which is the former Alhambra Unified School District building across the street from the cache. (There are no additional clues at or around the monument).

The cache is on private property and has been placed with permission. Please keep noise to a minimum and respect the residents! Due to the placement of this cache, please use your finest stealth skills and move at a snails pace.

The container is a yellow and black "Myntz" breathmints tin and should be a fairly easy grab and run. You'll need a flashlight to find it at night. Please do not shine the light into any windows! Street parking is available (except in the early morning hours, and from 12pm to 3pm on Tuesdays on the south side of the street so watch for parking signs). No tools are needed to get it from its hiding place and will be easy for anyone to reach.

Congrats to Team Yinyang on the FTF. There was a CA Lottery "Lucky for Life" scratcher that was a "Ticket" winner inside the tin (Sorry you didn't win anything).

We will randomly put a lottery scratcher in the container. Please report back with what you win (if anything). There are a few goodies in the tin. Please take one and leave a new one for the next person and log what you got. Vehicle traffic is moderate, but can get busy at rush hour times. Pedestrian traffic is generally slow at night and school is not in session. Please bring your own pen or pencil and don't be a log hog. Thanks & happy hunting!
