Kairiajame Ventos krante buvęs Kuršėnų dvaras nuo 1631 m. iki Pirmojo pasaulinio karo priklausė Gruževskiams. Miestas formavosi šalia dvaro. Šių dienų sulaukė restauruoti mediniai dvaro rūmai ir keletas pagalbinių ūkinių pastatų. Mišraus suplanavimo Kuršėnų parkas Ventos kairiajame krante įkurtas XIX a. Šiauriniame pakraštyje, tarp upės ir nedidelio intako, yra iš senvagės įrengtas tvenkinys, parko viduryje – apie 70 m skersmens apskrita pieva, apsodinta medžių eile, apjuosta plačia privažiavimo alėjos kilpa. Liepų alėja prie Ventos itin džiugina akį. Rytinėje parko dalyje – seni mediniai rūmai, gyvenamasis namas.
Cache konteineris - permatoma vandeniui atspari maisto dėžutė, apytiksliai 8x6x4cm, ant jos užrašyta "Official Geocache". Saugokitės "muglių"!

The manor on the left bank of the river Venta has been the property of Gruzevskiai family since 1631. The town, Kursenai, has formed near the manor. The park dates back to XIX century. In the center of the park is an oval lawn, approx 70m wide, on the northern side there is a pond. The eastwern side holds old wooden manor and a house.
The container is a transparent waterproof food box, approx. 8x6x4cm, with "Official Geocache" written on it. Watch out for muggles!
