Geocache Description:

This Cache is one that my son wanted to place..He has chosen to name it after one of his favorite places to go in the summer.  He has just come back, and immediately wanted to hide his first cache. Container is big enough for small items and small trackables, but you will need to bring your own pen.

We highly recommend visiting Old Fort Henry, or doing some reasearch! So much history to be learned ;)

Fort Henry is located in Kingston, Ont on Point Henry, a strategic point located near the mouth of the Cataraqui River where it flows into the St. Lawrence River, at the upper end of the Thousand Islands. The original fort was constructed during the War of 1812, when present-day Ontario was a British colony known as Upper Canada. The fort was constructed on the high ground of Point Henry to protect the Kingston Royal Naval Dockyard (now Royal Military College of Canada) from a possible United States attack.
