Did you know the tulip was originally cultivated in the Ottoman Empire, even though they are best associated with the Netherlands. The meaning of the word tulip is "perfect love". Everyone wants this, so in my quest for this elusive flower, I came across a story about some people who look for containers in the woods, in towns, just about anywhere they can look.

My first thought was why not just buy some from your tupperware lady. Why would any sane person do something like this? Then I thought it must be a CULT!  These people must have a higher power like the Freeman from Jordan or David Koresh from Waco to make them do something like this. I would never do something like this. Would you? They have to be brainwashed. Some of them are so crazy, that they do this thousands of times, like the guy who cuts rugs, or the one who cooks bugs. Even germans do this, like Herman and his frauline. One poor guy was so brainwashed that his family put him away because he thought he was raining stars. Why, oh why would any sane person do something so crazy, so bizarre, so outrageous, when they could do something so much more productive like finding this elusive flower. Then they could tiptoe through the tulips....
