A single stage cache hidden on an island in Huron Bay.
Huron Bay, along the south shore of Drummond Island, is a very scenic area. I searched every map of the area that I could find, and the island I selected for this cache does not seem to have a name. Therefore, as any good explorer would do, I took the liberty of naming this Island. I named it after my young Niece, who along with her parents, has a retreat on the nearby shoreline. Huron Bay is open to Lake Huron, and could kick up when the winds blow from any southerly direction. There are larger islands further out in the bay that adventurous paddlers may wish to explore if the winds are kind, but I selected this one because it will often be a bit more sheltered. The posted coords for parking are for a road end at the shoreline, where carry in watercraft can be launched.
You will be searching for a 30 cal ammo can, full of fair trade items. To prevent the possibility of damage by critters, please do not leave food items of any type. Liquids are subject to freezing in the winter, breaking their containers, and thus creating a mess within the Cache. Therefore, please do not leave liquids of any type in this Cache.
