Parking is on Point Peter Rd in the Deer Lick lot. A beautiful walk to a rather amazing little spot. This one is all on trail and easy enough walking. Most of Deer Lick faces GPS challenges and this area is no exception. Please observe all rules of the preserve as posted in the parking area.
This cache is placed to bring you to a very nice spot along the yellow trail and show you a view or two on the way, including Deer Lick Falls. If you continue out further you'll see more. I actually saw no signs of bears in this exact area! But you're on your way to Bear Point on the white trail. Enjoy this walk and this peacful little spot. Cache is near the trail and should be high enough to avoid wash out in the spring.
