Highway 627 runs from Paris, Kentucky thru Winchester to US 25 in Madison County. The Miles of Smiles geotrail starts at the intersection with US 25 running the 627 route north to the Clark County line near Boonesboro. All of the caches are placed in safe locations but as always be careful on this busy roadway. In the future Hwy. 627 is proposed to continue from US 25 to Nicholasville.
